Attention Competitors:

In light of the recent announcement by BC’s Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, instructing event organizers to cancel events greater than 250 people, we unfortunately have to announce the postponement of Copa Katana VIII, possibly until next year.

Athlete health and safety always will be our number one priority above all else. We know how many hours of hard work and dedication go into training for competition day and not being able to give our local athletes a venue to showcase their skills is heartbreaking.

We will be offering all competitors either a full refund or a credit for a future tournament. We ask that athletes/parents please visit the registration page of our website by Sunday, March 22 to indicate their preference, after which date, your registration will default to the credit option. We will process refunds as fast as we possibly can. 

As always, thank you for supporting Katana BJJ. We’ll hopefully see you in June at the Vancouver Island Open.
